The Elite Leaders (youth participants) will work individually to complete this portion of the competition in BUSINESS ATTIRE.

-Workshops to build interpersonal, teamwork, time budgeting, and essential skills to complete real world tasks.
-Community Leader Presentation
-Mini Game Challenge
-Task #1: Participants are challenged to mingle/network with a variety of community leaders. They are scored on their first impression skills and formal thank you note writing.

Tuesday

8:30am-12pm

Participants will work in pairs to complete task #2.

-Task 2 (We never uncover any task #2- #4 specifics so students have the chance to complete tasks without outside assistance. See below for an example task.)

Wednesday

8:30am-12pm

Participants will work in small groups for task #3.

Thursday

8:30am-5 pm

Participants will work in large groups to complete the final task!

-Mini Game Challenge
-FINAL TASK
-Lunch provided
-Networking (snacks provided)
– 4–5pm Closing Ceremonies (families invited!)

Sample Task

After a presentation from G.D. Ritzy’s owner, Chad Grunow, participants were randomly sorted into small groups to create a new ice-cream flavor to promote the G.D. Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights. They also created a light display for a local business. Promotional material and a pitch were shared with Mr. Grunow. Mr. Grunow then awarded points to the groups.
